GWANGALLI SUPRISE
SUPRISE, the name for enjoying Gwangalli's sea
SUPRISE (officially styled SUPrise) is Suyeong-gu's sports tourism brand for developing Gwangalli Beach as a SUP-focused beach. It puts SUP into "surprise" to say that SUP is taking off at Gwangalli.
If the Gwangalli SUP Zone is where you meet the sea on a board, the SUPRISE portal is where you prepare for that day. SUP experiences and programs, race dates and entries, and information on local SUP shops and facilities are all in one place.

GWANGALLI SUP ZONE
One step onto the board, facing Gwangan Bridge
The Gwangalli SUP Zone is a SUP area on the Namcheon-dong side of Gwangalli Beach. Get ready on the beach, head out onto the water, and Gwangan Bridge and the city shoreline open up together. If it's your first time, start with a lesson to learn your stance on the board and how to use the paddle.
The beach has three photo spots: the Gwangalli SUP photo zone, the lucky tree photo zone and the SUP BEACH gate photo zone. Capture your time on the water, then carry on with a walk along the beach or a break at a nearby café.

Gwangalli Marine Leports Center
Right beside Gwangalli Beach, this is where you can try a range of marine sports including paddleboards, kayaks and motorboats. Before a SUP session you prepare in the classroom, and after coming back from the sea you can use the showers and locker room. There is also an outdoor lounge facing Gwangan Bridge, so activity and rest carry on in one place.

CRAZY SURFERS
A Gwangalli SUP shop that can be with you from the first day you stand on a board to the days you refine your paddling. It runs SUP and surf lessons and kids' SUP, and widens the ways to enjoy the sea with sunset SUP and SUP yoga. It has an indoor training area, showers and a shop space where you can relax.
